With so much to do in Brooklyn, we took it upon ourselves to filter out all the happenings and suggest how to make the most of your weekend.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH

Yelle, Housse de Racket
7pm at Music Hall Of Williamsburg (66 N 6th Street, Williamsburg), Tickets: $23, $25 at the door
French pop dance band Yelle is set to hit the BK stage with their boogie-inducing blend of electro and rock. The band just dropped their second album, so this show is sure to include a variety of old beats as well as some new favorites.

Negra Modelo Food Pairing
10pm to 11pm at Papacitos (999 Manhattan Ave, Williamsburg), No cover
Head to this Mexican food joint to enjoy some free food action.  Purchase a pint of Negra Modelo beer and receive a free food item. Choose from tostados, fish tacos, Chicken mole and Pineapple Carnitas Burrito.

Ms. Thang
10pm at One Last Shag (348 Franklin Ave, Bed-Stuy), Tickets: $5
This party draws a diverse gay and lesbian crowd, offering a meet and greet atmosphere set to ‘80s, ‘90s, funk, and hip-hop hits. DJ Tikka keeps the party going all night long, offering free entry to those on his fan list.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10th

2011 MF Toys Show
Noon at MF Gallery (213 Bond Street, Boerum Hill) Tickets: Free
MF curators Martina and Frank Russo have organized a show featuring an array of unique figurines. The toys mirror the style of Burton and are on sale (from $10-$100) for those who seek one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.

Whiskey, Pickles n’ Jerky Pairing
3pm-midnight at Brooklyn Oenology (209 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg) Tickets: Free
Brooklyn Oenology is spending the whole weekend focusing on whiskey and pickle juice, a pairing that sounds gross but has caught on like wildfire. Patrons can stop by and sample local whiskeys as well as some local pickle juice, and jerky snacks are available for pairing and purchase.

3rd Ward Handmade Holiday Craft Fair
Noon-6pm at 3rd Ward (195 Morgan Ave, Williamsburg) Tickets: Free
The 5th annual installment of 3rd Ward’s handmade holiday craft fair is sure to offer some unique and locally crafted gifts. The sale will include culinary treats, jewelry, toys, clothes and more. First 300 guests will receive a limited edition 3rd Ward tote bag full of swag.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th

Comedy at KFBK
9pm at Knitting Factory (361 Metropolitan Avenue, Williamsburg) Tickets: Free
Hosted by SNL’s Hannibal Buress this comedy night is free for all and features a rotating roster of hilarious guests.

Timothy Greenfield-Sanders: The Latino List
11am-6pm at Brooklyn Museum (200 Eastern Parkway, Prospect Heights)
This is the last day to catch The Latino List, an exhibit by photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. The show consists of 25 large-format portraits of prominent Latino figures.

Crafted at the Canal
10am to 5pm at Build It Green! NYC (69 9th Street, Gowanus)
A new event by Build It Green! and Sustainable NY where you can purchase reused, fair trade and handmade products from local artists.
