It used to be hard to find a beer garden in New York, but nowadays you can’t go three blocks without running into one. Of course you’ll find no complaints from the locals about this type of real estate development. Get ready Brooklyn, because the latest of these spots is set to open in Bushwick.
The Well beer garden will offer beer from every New York State brewery while also playing host to food and booze pairings, classes, and a farmer’s market. The Well will be housed in the 4,000 square-foot Danbro Studios building, located at 260 Meserole Street. Think that’s big? The Well will also offer an 11,000-square-foot outdoor garden, making it the largest beer garden in the city. Owner Joshua Richholt told DNAinfo.com, “If we’re going to have a very large selection of beers, why not have the biggest in the city?”
Richholt will also be opening a 75,000-square-foot music venue in the same location called The Wick.
Get ready to see it all this fall!
