Seasonal American “pub” fare will make its way to Williamsburg this fall by way of The Spotted Pig’s former chef, Nate Smith, with two business partners in tow. The stand-alone edifice, located at 124 Bedford Avenue and seats 40, was formerly home to Polish eatery, Raymund’s. Now Allswell, as the name implies, is meant to be a casual come-one, come-all environment where patrons can eat, drink and be merry.
So what is there to eat? Smith plans to hone in on lighter menu options while still maintaining his meat-centric specialties (you can count on pig and burgers to make an appearance) with appetizers ranging from $8 to $13 and mains in the mid $20’s. With plans for an evolving menu and late-night dining, you will have ample opportunity to sample the selections. So far they have the location, and that’s a darn good start.
