Anna Klinger and Emiliano Coppa, owners of successful Italian restaurant Al Di La, decided to continue that success with a more casual spot in Crown Heights, which opened the last week in January. Bar Corvo, which means “crow” Italian, pays tribute to the Crow Hill neighborhood with its name and decor, threading that motif through wallpaper, long dining tables, and wooden high-backed chairs. Rustic cuisine comes with lower-priced dinner pickings found at its sister spot like their landmark lasagne ($14) and tagliatelle al ragu ($13). But new noshes like an orange-confit calamari salad ($10), veal with buttered turnips ($18), and even mac and cheese ($8) are prospective exciters. If you can’t make their scrumptious supper, lunch and take-out are in the forecast. For now, let your wine wings fly you to this “crow” bar with a full selection to match your meal. 791 Washington Ave. btw. Lincoln and St. John’s Pl, Crown Heights
