2nd Annual ‘Yelp Drinks’ Brings Half-Priced Booze to Brooklyn

On a happy hour budget, but work lawyer hours? During the last week in February, Brooklyn workaholics will have the chance to score discounted drinks even after the general 7pm happy hour cutoff, thanks to Yelp's second annual YELP DRINKS NYC. From February 27th to March 4th, 18 Brooklyn bars will offer three different alcoholic beverages for 50% off during operating hours. This means you don't have to rush to the bar to order two more happy hour drinks at 6:59pm. And unlike other promotions, no pass or RSVP is required - just mention Yelp and be sure to order one of the confirmed specials (this is key).

The list of participating bars is a tad pub-heavy, but overall features a spot for pretty much every kind of imbiber. Even a few familiar names pop up (Freddy's, Pete's Candy Shop, Brooklyn Winery). Beer enthusiasts should take note that Cobble Hill's 61 Local is offering Yelpers one free 10 oz homebrew or a three pour flight as their special throughout the week. The full list of bars and what drinks they will be discounting can be found here.
